EXHIBITION

Science is infinite,Research are Forever” CAEP FOREVER established a city named "China Science City" in September 2000, which is located in Mianyang, Sichuan Province, China.

Forever is the birthplace of China's radiation crosslinking materials

Field joint coating failure has been known for site of corrosion damage in many gas transmission pipelines.

CAEP”, The Ninth Scientific Research Institute established in China, founded in 1958

National Rradiation Crosslinking Heat Shrinkable Material Technology Center,

pipeline radiation crosslinking heat shrinkable material technology has been extended to most of China's pipeline radiation crosslinking heat shrinkable manufacturers.

FAQ

What's the meaning for crosslinked polyolefin backing?

The radiation cross-linked polyethylene heat shrink tape consists of a three-layer structure, consisting of a substrate layer, a hot melt adhesive layer, and an epoxy primer layer from top to bottom. It is formed by hot pressing to form a whole, with the substrate layer being a polyethylene layer and the hot melt adhesive layer being a polyurethane type hot melt adhesive layer. Radiation crosslinking improves the water vapor sealing performance of the substrate, the adhesion of hot melt adhesive, the corrosion resistance of chemical media, and the cathodic stripping resistance of epoxy primer.

What's the difference for 2PE HSS and 3PE HSS heat shrink sleeves?

2PE is HSS without epoxy primer layer, 3PE HSS with epoxy primer layer

Is radiation cross-linked heat shrink tape sold in rolls or sets？

If as a set, Heat shrink sleeves size depends on the diameter of the steel pipe, epoxy primer and closure patch should be suitable for pipe diameter. If as rolls, popular size is 30M length, customers can cut the length according to their actual on-site needs.
